I don't like breakfast! Cereals, toast - what a waste of a meal. And now I can't have bacon butties or too many eggs...
So I'm having yummy scrummy mega salads - takes me over an hour to prepare and eat but I get a great variety of 'colours', nothing heavy or fattening, includes fruit and garlic and you can throw in just about every alcalizing ingredient you might need! Breakfast like a king...starting with a 'bed' of salad leaves, including tatsoi, cos and spinach...
Artichoke hearts
Olives
Sundried tomatoes
Parsley
Chunks of cucumber
Celery
Orange peppers
Thin slices of red onion
Sweetcorn (from a tin!)
Strawberries
Blueberries
Kiwi fruit
Beetroot
Sprouting seeds or sprinkle of seeds
Cherry tomatoes - work better as a separate salad with onion and garlic
Spoonful or two of a protein grain - bulgar wheat or quinoa
A squeeze of lemon in my apple and mango special vinaigrette (full of special oils, garlic, onion and parsley.
A chunk of Buckwheat bread to mop it all up

I have to agree with you, I have never been a big fan of breakfast either. If I have to have something I will throw some fruit into the blender and have a smoothie.
