Not entirely quite so wunnerful - missed the artichoke hearts which Tesco didn't deliver.
But I made a great vinaigrette - chopped up tiny with the 'alligator' a portion of a small red onion, a huge clove of very expensive garlic, and a chunk of ginger. Left it to marinate in some Food Doctor 'good oil', added best olive oil, and a splash of honeygar and some fruity balsamic. A bit more olive oil. Wasn't quite enough - lot of lettuce, lot of 'bits'...so I added a splash of apple juice! Perfection.
The salad today included kiwi fruit and strawberries on a base of peppery Chinese leaf and 'young whole leaf' of Lollo Rosso, Lollo Biondo and Redina plus cucumber, orange (!) and red tomatoes, sundried tomatoes and a few huge green olives stuffed with sundried tomatoes. And half a pack of pesto pasta (spinach, basil leaves, pine nuts and pasta). Oh and cooked fine green beans. And a couple of tuna-stuffed small peppers (I think I've gone off them).
Plus oniony hummous eaten with Lincolnshire carrots.
And in a minute I'm going to have some more strawberries with black pepper and Green honey yoghurt!! Mmmmm!
What did I forget? Parsley, red and orange peppers. Where was the protein?? Nuts and seeds missing, too.
